Siegfried Winkler

Siegfried Winkler, an accomplished dressage trainer & rider, will be here again on MAY 1ST to give a clinic. He will be coming to Somerset on a regular basis. Both Jessica Greer and Somerset’s Owner, Kim Lampert, will be riding with Siegfried.

  • Reitmaster
  • German Federation – Master’s degree in instruction and training
  • Dillenburg State Breeding Farm – Master’s degree in horse and stable management and breeding
  • Kuratorium for Therapeutisches Reiten e. V – Licensed to train riders with disabilities

Siegfried’s accomplishments include:

  • International Equestrian Passport from the British Horse Society enabling Siegfried to teach and train Internationally
  • Professional Instructor status by the German Federation in Warendorf
  • Riding Instructor Diploma from Dutch Academy, Deurne, Holland
  • Licensed German Federation Judge
  • Competed at the Grand Prix level in Germany and Holland
  • Trained at the Classical Riding Institute in Karlsruhe, Germany
  • Assistant to Jaap Pot, International judge for the Netherlands
  • Director and Chief Instructor at the “Manege de Dollard,” Holland

Horse Accomplishments

  • Cheribert – Placed 6th in European Championship for 3-4 year olds
  • Wishdream – Competed in World Championship for 5-6 year old dressage horses
  • Gladiolus – Showed Grand Prix Special at the World Games;continues to show in Germany
  • Otello – Shown Intermediate I in Germany; now showing in US
  • Kim Lampert’s Matinee SF – 7th Place National Young Horse Championships for 5 year olds
  • Debi Voigt’s Rohmero – 3rd Place National Young Horse Championships for 6 year olds
